Pros

Fresh, chef-prepared meals delivered weekly and never frozen, Factor offers heat-and-eat convenience without sacrificing quality. Menus rotate regularly with whole-food ingredients, clear nutrition labeling, and restaurant-level flavor — perfect for people who want convenient, ready-made meals that still taste homemade and use high-quality produce and proteins.

Flexible meal plans accommodate keto, paleo, low-carb, vegetarian, and calorie-conscious goals, with macro and calorie counts shown for every dish. Users can choose portion sizes, swap meals, or skip deliveries, making the service adaptable to weight loss, performance, or general healthy-eating plans while keeping tracking simple.

Time-saving and reliable, the Factor app and subscription system streamline ordering, delivery, and reheating so you can eat well with minimal effort. Meals arrive pre-cooked and portioned, cutting grocery trips and cleanup. Ideal for busy professionals, caregivers, or anyone wanting consistent nutrition without the hassle of daily meal prep.

Cons

Factor's prepared meals are convenient but come at a premium—often costing significantly more per meal than home-cooked food or many competitors. For budget-conscious users, the higher per-meal price and possible shipping fees make long-term use expensive, limiting appeal for families or people trying to cut food costs.

Customization and dietary flexibility are limited: Factor focuses on protein-forward meals with keto, paleo, and low-carb options but offers relatively few vegetarian or vegan choices. Users with specific allergies or strict ingredient preferences may find substitutions unavailable, making it a poor fit for plant-based eaters or highly restricted diets.

The subscription model can feel inflexible: weekly delivery schedules, skip/cancel deadlines, and automatic billing require active management. Missing a cutoff or forgetting to pause can result in unwanted shipments. Additionally, refrigerated delivery and frequent single-use packaging add logistical hassles for customers with unpredictable schedules.
