The historical data enables long-term tracking of player growth and team progress.
Cons
The GameChanger app hides many advanced stats, live streaming, video storage, and custom reports behind a paid subscription. Teams and parents may find subscription costs expensive for premium features, and the free version includes ads and limited functionality, making full access dependent on recurring fees.
GameChanger relies heavily on internet connectivity; offline scorekeeping is limited and syncing problems can delay updates or create duplicate entries. Coaches who lose connection during games may face data loss or slow live updates for parents, which undermines reliability for real-time scoring and stat tracking.
New users often face a steep learning curve; the interface can feel cluttered with menus for scoring, stats, and broadcasts. Customization for unique league rules or specialized stat categories is limited, so teams needing tailored reports or nonstandard scoring may struggle to adapt the app to their workflow.
